Everything you need to launch and fine-tune your AI assistant.

Getting started

  1. Create an account — your 14-day trial starts straight away.
  2. Create an assistant and enter your website address. We’ll start reading your pages immediately.
  3. Use the Test tab to ask it questions while it learns.
  4. Open Install, copy your snippet and add it to your site.

Installing the widget

Add this line just before the closing </body> tag on every page, replacing the ID with the one shown on your assistant’s Install tab:

The script loads asynchronously, so it won’t slow down your page. The Install tab has step-by-step guides for WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow and Google Tag Manager.

Under Allowed websites you can list the domains your assistant may run on (subdomains included). If the list is empty it will work anywhere.

Training your assistant

  • Website — we follow your sitemap and internal links on the same site. Enter a path such as yoursite.com/help to read just that section. Each page counts towards your plan’s page allowance.
  • Files — upload PDF, Word (.docx), TXT, Markdown, CSV or HTML files up to 10 MB. Scanned PDFs (pictures of text) can’t be read.
  • Text — paste anything that isn’t online, like internal policies or product details.
  • Q&A — write exact answers to common questions. Q&As take priority over other content, so they’re the fastest way to fix an answer.

Tip: from the Inbox, click Improve answer under any reply to turn it into a Q&A.

Tone & instructions

On the Behaviour tab choose a tone (friendly, professional, concise or playful) and add custom instructions, for example “always mention free delivery over £50” or “send booking questions to our booking page”. Your assistant still only states facts from its knowledge.

Leads & handoff

When your assistant can’t answer, or a visitor asks for a person, it shows a short contact form. New leads appear under Leads and are emailed to the address you choose, with the full conversation attached. You can also ask for details before the chat starts, or switch lead capture off.

Once the script has loaded, you can open or close the chat from your own buttons:

About our crawler

Our crawler identifies itself as autoaiBot/1.0. It only visits sites that a customer has added to their assistant, respects robots.txt (including rules for autoaibot) and pages marked noindex, and stays on the site it was given. If you have concerns, contact [email protected].

Visitor privacy

The widget doesn’t set cookies. It keeps the current conversation in the visitor’s browser storage so it survives page changes, and visitors can start a new conversation at any time. See our privacy policy and data processing terms.
